Well, Hey There.
My Super Power is that I have the capacity to join humans together in something as sacred as marriage.
TILL DEATH DO YOU PART.
How freaking cool is that!
I’m Kellie!
I was raised on a dairy farm in Yinnar, alongside my immediate family and grandparents. Farm life was – 358 acres of lush green grass, rolling hills, dirt driveways, and a plethora of animals. We birds, cows, geese, chickens, an emu, dogs, too many cats to count, and a goat named Molly, who used to chase people and dance on car bonnets.
My brother and I cherished the freedom of wide-open spaces, where we could run, ride, and explore everything the farm had to offer. Growing up fast was a necessity with both parents working full-time. So early on, we cooked our own meals and learned to fend for ourselves after school. Sometimes trekking 2-3 kms home in the rain during milking time. Definitely not cool, Mum, not cool!
I attended Primary School in Yinnar, moving on to High School in Churchill & Morwell. Then time came to be an adult; working life saw me gaining experience across various industries such as The Education Department, The Employment Industry, Monash Uni, Centrelink and Conveyancing.
Now fully grown, I am a Full Time Celebrant / MC. I have a family of my own – we are The Eddy's – and we reside in Traralgon.
340 Couples Hitched

So, why am I a Celebrant?
I love weddings (but who doesn’t) and from a young (ish) age, I was drawn to this industry.
Initially, I was behind the mic, but in a different capacity. I was the wedding singer, accompanied by my very talented husband. We enjoyed years of singing people down the aisle and helping them dance the night away with their loved ones. Then, as I became older and we started a family, the late nights were no longer for me.
I decided I wanted to be the one helping make these Hitchings legal. So, I got to it, studied my little butt off, and now I am that person.
The most rewarding part of my job is getting to know new people and learning stories. It’s about connecting with community and sharing in the most magnificent day.
The plus sides are that I get to dress up, sneak a few olives from the grazing table, swig a little champagne and then be on my merry way. Leaving the party goers with the warm and fuzzies as I drive off into the sunset with my country tunes blaring!
How does it work?
Booking Your Special Day
Get in touch if you'd like me to be part of your special day. But FYI; My calendar fills up quickly, sometimes up to two years in advance. If you have a date in mind, the sooner the better to reach out and check avilability
Let's Meet
It is always good to put a face to the name and have a chat. Perhaps over a drink; so we can get to know each other a little better.
This is our little dating period. An opportunity to suss out if we are the right fit for one another.
Handling the Legalities
We’ll complete some paper work, including a Notice of Intended Marriage (at least one month before your date) and a Declaration of no legal impediment to Marriage (as close to the ceremony as possible).
Creating the Ceremony
Working together as a team, we create the best ceremony to reflect you as a couple. We do this via my little online questionnaire and our chats together. Through these avenues, I learn your story and everything that makes your partnership and your lives work.
I then sit down and use all of this info to write a kick a$s ceremony that is reflective of you both and your journey.
Think - laughter, tears and just he right amount of roasting to keep everyone humble.
Your Big Day
On your wedding day, we all get dressed up and rock that dream ceremony. Leaving you and your favourite people feeling full from the love, laughter and tears. + some shots if you’re game!
After the Ceremony
After you’re hitched, I’ll snap a photo with you (because if it ain’t on socials it didn’t happen).
I will lodge all the paperwork to ensure everything is official, and then advise you of the next steps.
As you live your own version of 'happily ever after,' in the weeks that follow, I’ll post some photos on socials, tag you and your vendors and we’ll all share stories of your wedding day for years to come.
What Clients are Saying
Kellie did an amazing job officiating our marriage. She went above and beyond getting to know us and made every little detail of our ceremony meaningful. All our loved ones enjoyed listening to her and raved on about it - even still now.
We could not be more honoured to have Kellie wed us and honestly would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a celebrant, Kellie is your woman
Mr & Mrs Dorling
We are blown away with how amazing our wedding day was. If we are honest, we were looking forward to our Honeymoon more, but it was just absolutely incredible.
Talking to everyone after our day, their first comment has been about how amazing you were. People can’t believe that we had only met on zoom, how well you conveyed our story and how refreshing the ceremony was. We were also blown away with the ceremony, we did not think it was going to be the best part of the day but you truly did make it just that. We really can’t put into words how amazing you were nor find enough words to thank you.
